Spine & Sport Physical Therapists Help Athletes at TriathlonSunday, July 10, 2011 – Spine & Sport Physical Therapy aided racers at this year’s Chattanooga Waterfront Triathlon, offering a post-race Ice & Stretch tent. Heath Perez, PT, DPT worked with numerous athletes following the event, helping to relieve cramps and muscle pains sustained during the race. The triathlon took place along the Chattanooga riverfront, ending at Ross’ Landing near the Tennessee Aquarium. The event had over 1,400 participants who braved the extreme heat to complete the 1.5k swim, 42k bike and 10k run.
